Joomla 4.x, 5.x, or 6.x with PHP 8.1 or newer.
A published site menu (menutype) that contains your documentation hierarchy under one anchor item. Menu items must be published and set to show in menu unless you intentionally hide them.
Section and hub levels in the module must match real depths in that tree. If levels are wrong, the sidebar will look empty or show the wrong labels.
A module position in the documentation layout (commonly left or your template’s sidebar position). Helix Ultimate and similar frameworks may remove the left column when no modules render there; anchor branch visibility helps keep the column present on deep doc pages.
RCA Auto Menu and Content Uploader are not required, but many RCA documentation trees use them to create menu items when articles are saved or imported. Menu Scope only displays the menu you already built.
