RCA SPPB Compat is an administrator-focused system plugin. Site visitors do not install it, configure it, or see a frontend module from this package.

What visitors actually see

Nothing changes on the public site because you enabled Compat. SP Page Builder pages, layouts, and addons render the same way they did before, assuming your SPPB content and template were already correct. This plugin fixes admin pain and optional Media Manager behavior, not your marketing copy.

When frontend might feel different

If your editors could not save articles after using the SPPB editor, Article checkout fixes that in admin. Visitors only benefit indirectly because published content stops sitting in limbo while an editor hunts for missing Save buttons.

Media and images on the live site

Media patches affect how administrators browse and insert media in SP Page Builder. They do not automatically redesign frontend image tags or addon output. If an image looks wrong on the live page, that is still an SPPB layout, template, or content issue unless admin could not pick the image at all because Media Manager was broken.

Cache after admin fixes

If you cleared Joomla cache or CDN cache after fixing admin workflows, the frontend may show fresher article or page output. That is normal caching behavior, not a Compat frontend feature.
