Overview

RCA JEA Basic (pkg_rca_jea_basic) installs RCA JEstate Atlas (com_rca_jea), a maintained fork of Joomla Estate Agency (JEA) 4.0.4 for real estate — listing, managing, and publishing properties on Joomla 4.4 through 6. In the administrator you work with properties, feature lists, reference geography (states, towns, neighborhoods), types and conditions, and import/export gateways. On the site you publish lists, detail pages, search, and map search through menu items and bundled modules.

Current retail line: 1.0.27 (free public feed).

Package contents

One installer delivers com_rca_jea, site modules mod_rca_jea_search, mod_rca_jea_emphasis, and mod_rca_jea_slider, and plugins for Smart Search (Finder), admin geolocation, social sharing, and system integration — as declared in the package manifest.

Who it helps

Brokers and developers migrating from legacy com_jea or European JEA forks who want familiar property workflows on a maintained GPL package. You supply template overrides and any MLS or IDX integration.

Honest limits

There is no built-in MLS/IDX importer and no public property submission form in this community release. Migrating from com_jea requires export/import on staging — Joomla does not upgrade com_jea to com_rca_jea in place.
