Requirements

Helix Compat installs without Helix present, but most value appears when Helix layouts and optional Feed Factory imports are in play.

Joomla and PHP

Joomla 4, 5, or 6 with PHP 8.1 or newer. Super User access for install, plugin options, and bulk tools.

Helix templates

Helix Ultimate or Helix3 from JoomShaper when you want Helix blog formats and featured image fields to matter on the frontend. The plugin can sit idle on non-Helix templates with switches Off.

RCA Feed Factory for formats

Helix Format requires Feed Factory 6.0.18 or newer so Import2Content shows the Helix Format fieldset. Older Feed Factory builds will not expose Apply Helix blog format where you expect it.

RCA Feed Factory for Media Bridge events

Media Bridge extracted media events expect Feed Factory 6.0.17 or newer when you rely on that integration path. Image sync on article save does not require Feed Factory.

Not included

RCA does not ship Helix, Feed Factory, or SP Page Builder in this package. SP Page Builder is optional and only benefits when addons read synced core image fields.

Backups

Take a normal site backup before bulk image sync, ledger restore tests, or large backlog batches. Staging first is the adult choice.
