Configuration

Open System → Plugins → System - RCA Helix Compat. Feature switches and Media Bridge options live in plugin parameters. Save after changes and retest on real articles, not on memory.

Helix Format switch

Leave Helix Format On when Feed Factory imports should set Helix blog formats such as Standard, Video, Gallery, and Audio on the dual stack for Helix3 and Helix Ultimate keys, plus Helix3-only Link, Quote, or Status where those layouts exist. Turn it Off when you do not import formats or you lack Feed Factory 6.0.18 or newer.

Feed Factory per-feed controls

In Import2Content enable Apply Helix blog format on feeds that need it. Pick the format per feed on purpose. Do not leave every feed on Standard and wonder why nothing changed. Use Video index when Auto video selection must pick a specific embed among several.

Media Bridge switch

Leave Media Bridge On when Helix featured fields and core intro or fulltext images should agree. Turn it Off when you only need format writing on import.

Sync mode

Fill-empty writes only into blank fields and is the safe default for editorial work. Mirror forces a chosen side to win and is for when you know which field is authoritative. Off stops image sync entirely.

Core to Helix prefer

Choose which core field to prefer when filling Helix: intro, fulltext, or full then intro.

Helix3 spfeatured_image

Also fill Helix3 spfeatured_image should stay Yes on Helix3 sites when you want that field written. The field can still be read as a source when write is No depending on options.

Clear missing paths and body scrape

Clear missing paths drops dead local paths then fills from a valid sibling. Remote http and https URLs are not cleared. Body scrape can seed empty image fields from the first usable body image. Turn scrape off if you do not want empty articles picking the first inline image. Article save will not re-scrape after you intentionally clear all image fields.

Runtime prepare and bulk tools

Runtime prepare can sync on frontend prepare paths when enabled. Bulk actions in plugin options run limited batches for backlog cleanup. Use staging first.
