Does Auto Menu replace AddMenuItem?

No. AddMenuItem is the administrator module for one-click menu creation from the article edit screen. Auto Menu runs on every article save when rules match. Use both if you want manual control and automatic doc-hub menu maintenance.

Which Joomla versions are supported?

Joomla 4, 5, and 6 with PHP 8.1 or newer, per the manifest.

Why did my menu item get the wrong parent?

Check Match menu by category title, your Search under menu item limit, and any Category mappings row for the article’s category. An ancestor category can satisfy a mapping when configured that way (see changelog 1.0.1).

What is the intro article menu root?

When Product menu item type is intro article, the product menu root links to a single article whose title matches the product documentation category (for example RCA Themer Docs). Child doc articles still get their own menu items under that root.

Is this extension on JED?
