RCA Conditional Products is the enforcement hub in a common RCA J2Commerce stack. These integrations describe each product by name and job so you do not assign cart firewall expectations to Storefront or booking map expectations to Conditional Products.
RCA Storefront Product Catalog module can select products from a Conditional Products rule or apply eligibility lock styling on manual and category lists. Storefront shows dependents as locked, eligible-only, or grouped per module options. Conditional Products decides whether checkout accepts those SKUs through J2Commerce - RCA Conditional Products. If Storefront shows a lock while checkout still works, the J2Commerce plugin is off or the rule does not include those products. Fix enforcement, not catalog CSS.
System - RCA OSB J2C Bridge maps OS Services Booking service IDs to J2Commerce product IDs in sid_map and performs hold to cart after a valid hold. Conditional Products does not create or maintain sid_map. Use Bridge when qualification must precede booking and the hold should land a specific cart line afterward. Conditional Products gates whether booking or slot select may proceed when the OSB gate plugin is enabled; Bridge maps which product enters cart after hold.
OS Services Booking provides calendars, services, and booking POST routes. Conditional Products OSB gate plugin optionally blocks those routes until shoppers qualify under the same rules as cart products. OSB remains optional for shops that only gate J2Commerce SKUs without booking.
Cross-sells, up-sells, customer group pricing, and access levels remain valid for recommendations and pricing tiers. They do not replace Conditional Products when you must refuse dependent purchase at checkout. Use core features when you do not need hard refusal.
RCA J2C Direct Download serves free zero-dollar downloadables from article shortcodes outside cart. It does not evaluate Conditional Products rules because free direct download SKUs are not dependent add-ons in a gated checkout flow. Keep gated paid dependents on checkout paths with Conditional Products enforcement.
A shopper buys or holds a qualifying product through J2Commerce checkout. Conditional Products records satisfaction via cart or history rules. RCA Storefront unlocks dependent cards visually. The OSB gate opens booking routes. The shopper completes hold. RCA OSB to J2C Bridge adds the mapped product to cart. Checkout completes in J2Commerce. Each product name in that sentence owns one step. Mixing steps causes misdirected support.
