Empty modules, wrong product lists, missing lock styles, and false confidence from locked cards that still checkout are the usual Storefront support themes. Work through assignment and selection before you blame J2Commerce or the template.
Confirm the module is published and assigned to a position the template renders on the menu item you are viewing. Confirm Access matches the viewer. Confirm product source is populated with real IDs, categories, or a valid RCA Conditional Products rule. Confirm products are published and visible to that access level. Clear Joomla cache and hard-refresh. Empty output is rarely a missing theme; it is usually selection, assignment, or cache.
Re-check product source mode because only one mode owns the list. Verify product IDs are not stale after catalog cleanup. Verify category selection matches the J2Commerce category you think you chose. In rule mode, verify the selected CondProd rule still includes the products you expect. Clear cache after any change.
Confirm RCA Conditional Products is installed. Confirm eligibility mode is not Off. Confirm the rule includes the dependents you are viewing. Confirm J2Commerce - RCA Conditional Products is enabled even though styling is a Storefront concern, because some test plans confuse “no styling” with “no rule data.” Clear cache.
That is expected when Conditional Products enforcement is missing or misconfigured. Storefront display lock is not cart enforcement. Install and configure RCA Conditional Products, enable the J2Commerce plugin, fix the rule, then retest cart refusal. Storefront will not block add to cart by itself.
Confirm RCA OSB to J2C Bridge is installed and enabled. Confirm sid_map contains a row mapping the product to the OS Services Booking service. Confirm OS Services Booking data exists for that service. Confirm Show OSB duration or Show OSB availability is enabled on the module. Clear cache. Without Bridge map, enabling module toggles only guarantees empty fields, not magic duration text.
Reinstall pkg_rca_storefront. Confirm lib_rca_storefront is present under Extensions and that PHP is 8.1 or newer. Confirm J2Commerce install succeeded. Package 1.1.0 consolidated older separate catalog modules into one Product Catalog module; legacy unpublished WIP modules should not conflict on current installs.
Upgrade to package 1.2.4 or newer for product-catalog CSS document fallback on builder pages. Confirm template custom.css overrides are not hiding module classes. Confirm only one catalog module competes on the same page during testing.
Disable or unpublish other product grid modules on the same page while testing. mod_j2commerce_products plus RCA Product Catalog on one layout confuses which module owns the grid you are editing.
