Requirements

Bridge connects two vendor extensions you install yourself. If either side is missing, outdated, or misconfigured, the map cannot save you.

Which Joomla and PHP versions are supported?

Joomla 4, 5, and 6 with PHP 8.1 or newer per manifest. Version 1.0.12 also declares a forward-compat Joomla 7 target platform stub; re-test holds after major Joomla upgrades anyway because vendor plugins move on their own schedule.

Which third-party extensions are mandatory?

OS Services Booking must be installed with booking holds working before Bridge. J2Commerce must be installed with at least one published, purchasable product you can map. RCA ships the bridge only.

What IDs do I need ready?

Numeric OS Services Booking service IDs from service admin, not service titles alone. Numeric J2Commerce product IDs from product admin, not SKUs unless your own workflow says otherwise. sid_map wants integers on both sides.

What admin access is required?

Super User or equivalent rights to install extensions, enable system plugins, edit sid_map, and clear cache after map changes.

What is optional in the RCA stack?

RCA Storefront is optional display. RCA Conditional Products is optional enforcement for qualifiers and dependents. Bridge alone is enough when anyone who can hold a slot may buy the mapped product through normal J2Commerce checkout.

What honest limits should I accept upfront?

Wrong or missing sid_map rows error by design. Bridge does not create catalogs or decide eligibility. Style overrides belong in template custom.css rather than hacked plugin CSS if you want clean upgrades.
