Requirements

Compat does not install OSCampus for you.

Joomla and PHP

Joomla 4, 5, or 6 with PHP 8.1 or newer. Super User access or equivalent rights to install extensions.

OSCampus

OSCampus must already be installed from its vendor. This plugin targets the OSCampus 3.0.x line AbstractBase typing issue documented for lesson edit fatals on PHP 8.

Backups and consent

Take a normal site backup before install. You must accept that one vendor file changes on disk and that the product is not JED-listed for that reason.

Disk access

The web server user must be able to write AbstractBase.php and create AbstractBase.php.rca-orig under administrator/components/com_oscampus/library/oscampus/. Permission failures show up in install messaging rather than as silent success.

Not required

No plugin options are required for daily use. No Feed Factory, Helix, or SP Page Builder dependency exists.
