RCA Jukebox is independent of J2Commerce and Feed Factory. It plays files you host in Media Manager; it does not replace commerce checkout, update feeds, or third-party streaming platforms.

J2Commerce and downloadable products

If you sell audio as downloadable products, you can place a J2Commerce shortcode or link beside mod_rca_jukebox_item or near any player module in your article layout. Checkout and order fulfillment stay on J2Commerce. Jukebox handles on-page preview or listening from Media Manager paths you configure. Keep Access levels coherent so free previews and paid downloads match your business rules.

Other RCA products

No hard dependency ties Jukebox to other ReCreatingAnew extensions. You may use it on the same site as Feed Factory or license tools without special wiring. Each product installs and updates on its own feed tier.

What Jukebox does not integrate

Dropbox chooser from the ExtensionSpot era is removed. YouTube, Spotify, and similar embed platforms are out of scope; use those services directly if embeds are what you need. Jukebox is not a podcast RSS syndication engine and not a CDN upload tool.

Media Manager discipline

All modules read files through Joomla media fields pointing at Media Manager. Organize folders so editors can find masters. Prefer consistent naming so support emails include meaningful paths when something fails.

Template frameworks

Helix, Fusion, or other templates simply expose module positions. Assign positions the template actually renders. If a position name sounds clever but never outputs on your layout, the module is not broken; it is unassigned in practice.

Future site moves

When you migrate domains or force HTTPS, retest audio URLs and update any hard-coded links beside players. Jukebox paths stored in module params survive most moves if files move with standard Joomla media conventions.
