Overview

RCA Frontpage targets home pages and landing zones where you want more than a plain article list. Each layout is a separate tmpl design with its own theme options (carousel speed, grid columns, hover styles, and similar controls exposed in the module form).

What you get

One site module with multiple layouts (default, collage, carousel variants, masonry, portfolio, infinity scroll, newsy, and others), article filtering, thumbnail handling with cache under images/thumbnails/mod_rca_frontpage/, and a shippable manual under docs/manual in the ZIP.

What changed from Minifrontpage Pro

Install element is mod_rca_frontpage. Legacy JFactory and document-level asset injection in layouts were replaced with Joomla 6 APIs and Web Asset Manager registration through LayoutAssetHelper. PHP 8.1 minimum and Joomla 4 through 6 target platforms are declared in the manifest.

Agencies and publishers who need flexible front-page article presentation without building custom templates for every client.

When not to use it

Skip it if a single core Articles module or your template’s blog layout is enough, or if you cannot assign a Pro module on the target site.
