Install and Updates

Bridge installs like any Joomla system plugin. Prerequisites matter more than the ZIP click because booking and commerce must already run on the same site.

Where do I download the package?

RCA OSB↔J2C Bridge is free at https://recreatinganew.com. The package name is plg_system_rca_osbj2c. Updates use the public extension feed.

What happens at install if prerequisites are missing?

The installer reports which dependency is missing, OS Services Booking or J2Commerce, and reminds you to back up. Install the missing extension, then enable or reinstall Bridge. Do not expect hold-to-cart without both sides present.

How do I upgrade?

Download the newer Bridge ZIP and install over the existing plugin with method upgrade, or use Joomla Update when the public feed offers a version. Current retail version is 1.0.12. After upgrade, re-check sid_map, clear cache, re-test one mapped hold-to-cart path, and re-check osbtable pages if you embed calendars.

What does the update server use?

The plugin registers https://recreatinganew.com/extensions/public/feeds/plg_system_rca_osbj2c.xml for Joomla Update. Changelog details also publish to the matching public changelog feed.

How do I uninstall cleanly?

Open System, Manage, Extensions, and uninstall System - RCA OSB J2C Bridge. OS Services Booking and J2Commerce remain installed. Booking no longer auto-adds mapped J2Commerce products or shows the bridge Continue to Checkout path. Calendar hardening from this plugin on embedded tables is removed with the uninstall.
