Quick Start

This quick start assumes a clean Joomla 4.4+ site with a database and a template that exposes standard module positions.

Step 1 — Install the package

Download pkg_rca_jea_basic from the RCA free extensions area or use System → Update → Extensions when the updateserver is already registered. Install through Extensions → Manage → Install. Confirm RCA JEstate Atlas (com_rca_jea) appears under Components at version 1.0.27 or newer.

Step 2 — Component options

Open Components → RCA JEstate Atlas → Options. Set currency, units, map provider (Google or Leaflet), and mail defaults. Save and clear cache.

Step 3 — Reference data and menus

Add at least one State, one Town, and one property Type before bulk property entry. Define Features your search needs. Add menu items for property list, detail, search, or search map views. Publish mod_rca_jea_search or mod_rca_jea_slider to visible positions and assign those menu pages.

Step 4 — Verify frontend

Open a property detail page and a search results page on the frontend. Confirm maps load (Google key or Leaflet mode) and list views render without PHP errors in the log.
