Students and instructors do not interact with this plugin directly. They interact with OSCampus courses and lessons that stop fatalling in admin when the patch is present.

Learner-facing experience

Frontend course and lesson views behave as OSCampus defines them. Compat does not add modules, menus, or layout overrides on the public site. If learners see errors, those are separate OSCampus or template issues unless admin could not save lessons and content never updated.

Why frontend might indirectly improve

When instructors can create and edit lessons again, published course content can move forward. That is operational relief, not a Compat frontend feature.

Admin versus site

The AbstractBase patch applies to administrator OSCampus library code used during lesson management workflows. Public lesson display depends on OSCampus rendering and your template, not on this plugin’s single file change.
