What is this plugin?
It is a free system plugin named System - RCA OSB J2C Bridge with install element rca_osbj2c. It maps OS Services Booking services to J2Commerce products through sid_map, adds the mapped product after a valid hold, shows Continue to Checkout, and hardens embedded osbtable calendars on PHP 8.4 and Joomla 6.
Does the package include OS Services Booking or J2Commerce?
No. You install and license both vendors yourself. RCA ships the bridge only.
Which Joomla and PHP versions are supported?
Joomla 4, 5, and 6 with PHP 8.1 or newer. Current retail release is 1.0.12.
What do I put in sid_map?
Map numeric OS Services Booking service ID to numeric J2Commerce product ID, one pair per line as sid=product_id, for example 2=1. JSON object form is also accepted. Wrong IDs make the bridge path fail for that service.
Why do unmapped services error?
Unmapped service IDs always error and never fall back to another product. That prevents quiet empty-cart successes that waste an afternoon.
Does Bridge replace Storefront or Conditional Products?
No. Bridge maps hold to cart. Storefront handles catalog display. Conditional Products enforces qualifier and dependent rules in cart, checkout, and optional OSB gates.
Do I need Conditional Products to take payment after booking?
No when anyone may buy the mapped product. Yes when only qualified shoppers may buy dependents or open gated booking routes.
Do I need Storefront?
No. Storefront is optional presentation. Bridge works with native OS Services Booking UI and osbtable without Storefront.
Where are the badge and overview images?
Public URLs under https://recreatinganew.com/images/rca/osbj2c/ and copies under plugin media/images after install.
Is it free?
Yes for this bridge package with public feed updates at https://recreatinganew.com. OS Services Booking and J2Commerce licensing remain between you and those vendors.
