  • Retail sellable-only Auto mode (default on): Auto sync and unmapped warnings target storefront folders only — pkg_* package products and standalone extensions. Package-suite child folders on disk (com_*, mod_*, plg_* tied to an on-disk pkg_*) are treated as updater/feed paths and listed under Ignored folders, not unmapped errors.
  • Internal-only package list: Textarea default com_maxm_law — folders used for private updater/L2 only, excluded from J2Commerce sync warnings.
  • SKU-first map resolution: Maps built from downloadable master SKUs to {tier}/{sku}/ folders (not from scanning unrelated directories).

  • Full Auto sync mode (default): Scans free/ and pro/ package folders under the J2Commerce attachment root. Links each folder to a downloadable product whose master variant SKU matches the folder name (case-insensitive). No manual Product folder map required for normal operation.
  • Optional map overrides: In Auto mode, the map textarea still accepts pipe-separated lines to override folder, keep_prior, changelog, or label for specific product IDs.
  • Fail-soft sync: Cron and Sync Now continue when individual folders fail; JSON reports per-product results.
  • Change-only sync: Skips folders whose newest ZIP fingerprint is unchanged (cache under JPATH_CACHE/rca_j2c_downfilessync/). Cron URL accepts &force=1 to sync all mapped folders.
  • onJ2StoreProductAfterSave: When a downloadable product is saved, sync runs for that product if it resolves in the current map set.
  • Sync panel: Auto mode status, last sync time (UTC), unmapped folders (ZIP on disk, no matching SKU), downloadable products with no matching folder.

  • Manual map mode remains available via Sync mode → Manual (legacy) for sites that cannot use SKU = folder name.
