Regular Labs abandoned Add to Menu in 2022. Since then, Joomla 4+ sites had no working replacement for an extension that made their work easier, efficient and more productive. Including RCA's founder.

After not being able to find any replacement, RCA just rebuilt it from scratch — not a patch — a complete J6-standard refactor preserving all original features and functions in Regular Labs Add to Menu.

First live test produced menu items for 8 articles in 1 session with 0 errors. All modal windows opened clean, menu items created perfectly across articles and categories, no conflicts or collisions.

That is the bar RCA sets before anything leaves development. It may take a little longer — because RCA won't deliver broken code. 

The old way — 6 steps to link one article you just wrote:

  1. Save and close the article
  2. Navigate to Menu Manager
  3. Create a new menu item
  4. Type the title again
  5. Select Single Article as the type
  6. Hunt through the article list to find what you just saved

With RCA AddMenuItem — 2 steps:

  1. Click Add to Menu — button appears directly on the article edit page
  2. Confirm the pre-filled title and pick the menu
